The American Civic Center has served the town since 1913. Originally an armory, the facility has been transformed into a vibrant multi-purpose community center. In use regularly by many Wakefield nonprofit organizations and businesses, the Americal also offers function rentals of two of the town's most appealing spaces, the Heritage and the Drill Hall. We will be using The Americal Civic Center's Drill Hall/Gym for our Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes from November 1st to March 31st, and on any days with inclement weather. We will meet at the Drill Hall/Gym at 9:30am. Park off Armory Street, and go through the big white double doors located right off the parking lot.more
